the Dallas Public Library, City of Dallas Africa Liason Office,
Black Cinematheque Dallas, and the Dallas Black Film Festival.

12th annual music festival featuring UNT ensembles and guest performers from Ghana

April 25
African Film Festival
1 pm to 5 pm - FREE
Meadows School of the Arts Owen Arts Center, 6101 Bishop Blvd, Greer Garson Theatre 3rd Floor
Films representing four African nations

May 2
Africa Day
12 noon to 6 pm - FREE
J. Erik Jonnson Central Library, 1515 Young Street in Dallas
Interactive workshops for children, African arts and crafts, cultural booths

May 8 / 9
Reception, Taste of Africa Evening and Business Roundtable
Reception at 5:30 pm on Friday, Taste of Africa at 7 pm on Saturday

Dishes from 12 African nations

May 17
African Unity Cup and African Family Picnic
4 pm third place game, 6 pm championship game - FREE
HEB Stadium (Pennington Field), 1501 Central Drive in Bedford
Championship soccer, Parade of Nations, African games for adults and children, African food vendors, picnic
