To our media friends - a reminder and invitation to the DFW International Dinner with the Mayors

We'd like to alert the media to a colorful global evening that includes a Parade of Nations with North Texas leaders representing 71 nations and 21 DFW mayors as our special guests. We've noted the major activities below, so that our live media friends can send crews at the appropriate times. Ethnic community spokespersons will be available for interviews throughout the evening, including four from DFW's newest ethnic organization for the Syrian community.

The evening features FunFacts about International DFW and four immigrant Success Stories that recognize extraordinary contributions in the areas of philanthropy, education, community development, and refugee resettlement. These New Americans were born in Kosovo (Sofije Kusari), Pakistan (Ralph Hooda), Cuba (Miriam Rodriguez), and Ethiopia (Betru Gebregziabher).

I'm attaching a copy of the printed program, along with a shortened schedule for use by the media. Although we don't normally seat reporters for dinner, you're very welcome to join us at any time throughout the evening. You may check in at the main entrance on the north side of the building.
